Vendome , the Upscale Line from Coro.

The story of Coro, began in 1901 in New York City,  when  Emmanual Cohn & Gerald Rosenberg opened their doors to a  store.

They had over 70  marks & trademark, one of them was Vendome.

Coro Introduce Vendome in 1950′s and was know as  a quality line. They only used the best rhinestones & crystal beads that they could find.

Helen Marion was one of the main designers for this line.

Coro jumped on the Copper Jewelry bandwagon briefly during the 1950’s.
I own one copper necklace by Coro.
Vintage Copper Jewelry would not be complete without a entry by Coro.

Coro  saw how popular Copper Jewelry by Matisse & Renoir was & decided to jump on the bandwagon in the 1950′s.

Coro made of Copper Jewelry  for a short period of time, so it may be hard to find.
