Fabulous silverplate tea caddy dessert fork and sugar spoon serving set. Tthis set is just the most beautiful eye candy in its detail.
Made by Tomsen & Knudsen from Bergen, Norway, this isĀ the Kings Cross pattern.
Each piece has a heavy twisted handle capped with an large opulent embossed open work top. Beautifully crafted and so ornamental! These could be used for a variety of serving options as the spoon has a large ladle-like bowl and the fork tines are large and capable of holding a heavy piece of meat or cheese as well as all kinds of delicious desserts. They are in excellent condition and are marked TK 40G.
Please make careful note to the sizes. The spoon measures just over 5″ long with the bowl measuring 1 3/4″ in diameter. It weighs 23.5 grams. The fork measures just over 5 1/4″ long and weighs 15.9 grams. The set weighs approx. 1.27 troy ounces. In mint condition and unusual to find them as a set. Early 20th century.
